Maya is the consummate team player.  She is always focused on what is best for the team.  Coach Spaid witnessed Maya helping a teammate prior to the match in Punxsy on September 12.  The teammate was really struggling with her emotions and was getting angry and frustrated while playing.  Maya explained to her that the best strategy when you hit a bad shot or mess up a hole is to just laugh it off.  She told her you can't take this too seriously, or it will get in your head then your whole round will be off.  She gave her some examples and shared her personal experience.  The teammate did much better after Maya talked to her!  

I would like to highlight Sydney Simcox.  Sydney just started to play golf the first of August.   She has really taken to the game and is doing very well.  On our match against Brockway on September 10, Sydney improved her score and for the first time scored below a 70!  

Natalie is a solid golfer and the teams #1. 

She is committed to her game and works hard to improve.  

At our recent home match she shot a 53 which helped propel the girls to win over Brookville, Brockway and Punxsy.  

She helps the younger players and always encourages her team mates.
